Cheryl's love of fiddling is genuine and contagious. Fiddling is awesome Fun and making Music lifts the mood, brightens the spirit. Cheryl says, "When I am playing my instrument -- fiddle or violin - whatever you wish to call it - my goal is to play with feeling!"

Cheryl grew up surrounded by music at home, and studied classical piano for years. She started fiddling in 2001, and spent many years fiddling with Stan Jackson, and more recently learning from Pete Martin and Eileen Walters. She is an active member in many community organizations - Gone Fiddling Again, Central Washington Ag Museum, Central Washington Antique Tractor Club, Broadway Grange, WV Lions Club, Blue Mountain Old Time Fiddlers, Washington & Oregon OTFA.

As Director of Gone Fiddling Again 501(c)(3), a nonprofit org., Cheryl is actively involved in bringing the American traditional art form of fiddling and the gift of music to the Yakima Valley. A few of the ways she accomplishes this - is through monthly music jams, private lessons, workshops, community dances, shows -- to name just a few!
